Science--Balls and Straws

We explored using a straw to move a ball. Our goal was to decide if certain types of balls were easier to move than others. In addition, we were curious if we could make the ball stop once moving as well as change directions. Our conclusion was that heavier balls are harder to get moving than smaller balls such as a ping pong ball. Furthermore, we learned that we can make a ball turn by blowing on it through the straw from the side once the ball is in motion. Lastly, we can stop a ball by blowing at it with the straw from the opposite direction once it is moving.
